Lunch at Lake Wanaka
Australia
Doubtful Sound and West Coast Odyssey

Everything was as near perfect as one could arrange for a group of 15 'mature travellers'. We were so well catered for on every level and that was apparent as the days went by.

Doubtful Sound and West Coast Odyssey

We have travelled over most of New Zealand and it is difficult to find somewhere new but we would be prepared to take another Moa trek Tour in the future.

From the first phone conversation to the office to the drop off after 7 days after our tour I am full of praise for the whole company. You have chosen hotels and guides well. A smooth and interesting trip.

Walking on the beach on Stewart Island
New Zealand
Southern Odyssey and Stewart Island
Our favourites were going to Stewart Island, the Albatross colony, the Queenstown gondola / Skyline restaurant, the Earnslaw/Walter Peak Station and Nugget Point lighthouse. Our guide Paul was an exceptional guide/driver. He was always courteous, helpful, patient and went out of his way to ensure everything went smoothly. This was the first guided tour we had been on so have no points of comparison but we were extremely pleased with every aspect of the tour. We would certainly recommend MoaTours to others.

Visiting the Croydon Aviation Heritage Museum in Mandeville, Southland
New Zealand
Southern Odyssey and Stewart Island
I loved Stewart Island, the trip to Ulva Island and the beautiful scenery everywhere we went. Taieri Gorge railway was spectacular and I really enjoyed the Croydon Aviation Museum (much to my surprise!), Queenstown was stunningly beautiful too. Our Kiwi Guide Paul was extremely helpful in every way and also very knowledgeable about all the places we visited. He gave us a lot of information without being "over the top". It was a great trip which I have already recommended to friend

Molesworth Station, Abel Tasman and Golden Bay
I have had a wonderful experience with MoaTours. I loved the way everyone quickly became a family and cared for each other. Our driver Matt was awesome, great fun and caring. He gave us a great commentary as we toured the country. All of the accommodation was of a very high quality. I recommend the experience and think it is well worth doing.

Walking on the beach on Stewart Island
New Zealand
Southern Odyssey and Stewart Island
Before joining I was anxious as this was my first tour. But immediately I felt very comfortable and went on to really enjoy the whole week. Stewart Island and Ulva Island were the highlights. We became “family” looking out for each other as we went. Paul our guide was humorous, helpful and very knowledgeable about all sorts of things from Southland to Shakespeare. And the sound system on the bus was the best, we could hear everything. Thanks for a lovely week.

Marlin fishing catch at Waihua Bay on the East Cape
New Zealand
East Cape Caper
I enjoyed the talks at kiwifruit orchard and Bushmere Estate and the aviary at Tiromoana. Although it wasn't on the itinerary I enjoyed watching the marlin weigh in at Waihau Bay and the visit to the remnants of Hicks Bay wharf. I particularly enjoy the home hosted meals. I did enjoy the trip and look forward to my next one!

Hawkes Bay Art Deco Festival
We enjoyed the weekend away at the Festival. The tour was well organised, and we saw so much that we would not have seen and went to places we wouldn’t have gone had we been on our own. Our driver Chris did a great job for us, mainly older people, he was very helpful, informative and generally a nice guy. Well done MoaTours.
