2026 Awards & Finalists
Winner: Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Award
We were over the moon to receive another Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Award in 2026. The award recognises businesses that consistently receive great traveller reviews, placing winners among the top 10% of listings on Tripadvisor. We have now received the award six times: 2020, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026. Large amounts of chocolate cake were eaten as part of the celebrations!
We are incredibly grateful to our past travellers for sharing their experience online. Their honest feedback and support keep us doing what we love and constantly reminds us that the care we put into our tours truly matters.

Excellence in Customer Experience
This category celebrates businesses that have achieved success by providing excellent and sustained customer experience. It acknowledges the hard work and effort put in by a business to build a loyal customer base by taking steps to continuously improve their customer service delivery.
This was a proud moment for the whole team – a testament to the way we look after travellers before, during and after their tour.

People's Choice
The People’s Choice category in the 2degrees Auckland Business Awards is a unique and exciting way to recognise businesses that have achieved success based on the opinions of those that matter most to them – their community.
Being named a finalist was especially meaningful because it reflected the public support of MoaTours and the work our team does.
2025 Awards
Winner: Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Award
Our fifth Travellers’ Choice Award, and the fourth year in a row. Winning again in 2025 kept the streak alive, and it meant just as much as the first – proof that our travellers kept having the kind of experiences worth sharing.

The TECNZ Operator of the Year Awards are nominated and voted by industry members. They recognise excellence in terms of quality, professional development, health and safety, sustainability, business systems and outstanding visitor experiences.

Our second consecutive Travellers’ Choice Award was a real highlight for us and showed that the positive feedback from our travellers was continuing year after year.
2022 Awards

2022 marked our first full season back on the road after the disruptions of the previous year, and it was wonderful to see our travellers keen to get out and explore their own backyard again. Receiving this award in our first year back felt particularly special, and heartwarming to know just how many people value discovering the special places we have right here in New Zealand.
