MoaTours Kiwi Guide Tim shares some stories from a recent trip around the southern half of the South Island visiting Aoraki Mt Cook, Queenstown, Milford Sound, Wanaka, Franz Josef and Punakaiki. Find out why after 25 years guiding it's still his favourite part of New Zealand.
What we love most of all about running tours all over New Zealand is the amazing people we meet, real passionate Kiwis in some of the most stunning corners of the country. Meet a few of our mates from around the South Island, great people doing great work.
Read our handy travel guide to the West Coast, including the most common questions like what's the best time to go, what is the weather like, what are the best walks and activities and where to stay?

One of the great things about living in Auckland where most of our guests are too, is that from time to time we have the opportunity to catch up in person. Recently Kiwi Guide Andrew had the pleasure of the company of Glenis, Sharon and Shelly, who all shared a recent South Island trip together.

At the end of March this year, I was lucky to be given the opportunity to guide 18 guests on a brand new MoaTours trip, the Karamea & Wild West Coast Trails 7 day tour.
