WOW Awards Show
Festivals & Events

The World of WearableArt Awards Show tour has to be amongst the most enjoyable of all the trips that I guide for MoaTours.  In the 6 days that we are away we get to visit locals in their homes, traverse some magnificent scenery through the central North Island, experience one of the most inspiring and spectacular demonstrations of fantasy and creativity you’ll see anywhere in the world at the World of WearableArt Awards Show in Wellington (WOW, yes ... wow indeed!), learn the stories of the Art Deco rebuild of Napier and enjoy a wine or two in Hawkes Bay. What more could one ask for?

Marlborough
Early Explorers

Our new Early Explorers from Queen Charlotte Sound to Akaroa is a brand new tour for us and I’ve been chosen to be the Kiwi Guide for this trip and very pleased I am! We love the Marlborough area so much that four years ago my wife and I moved from the West Coast to Marlborough to live, so being able to show visitors around ‘my place’ has got to be the perfect job! This is an area of the country I know and love, this article is an introduction to the tour and what I know guests will love on the itinerary.

Kiwi Favourites

At the end of March this year, I was lucky to be given the opportunity to guide 18 guests on a brand new MoaTours trip, the Karamea & Wild West Coast Trails 7 day tour. In late March with a merry band of travellers we set off on our adventure to explore the northern end of the South Island's West Coast. I'm Andrew Wells, a Kiwi Guide with MoaTours and here is my perspective on this tour, from the point of view of the guide.
